Vantage Shipbrokers continues to see itself as a market leader in the oil and gas brokerage space despite challenges coming from increased competition as well as digitalization. In fact, we embrace the digital wave to enhance productivity as well as to launch ourselves into the data and intelligence space.
As of 2023, Vantage Shipbrokers employs over 40 people, and have branched out to other tanker segments with an established Research & Advisory desk. This is only possible through forward looking strategies as well as leveraging the diverse strengths and talents of our people.
From the inception (unlike small start-ups) we commenced operation with a team of over 20 members specializing in chemicals/dirty petroleum products/ clean petroleum products.
Vantage Shipbrokers Pte. Ltd. was founded in April 2012 to provide shipbroking services to the tanker market.

Japanese/Indian mix, born in India, grew up in Hong Kong. Andre studied in the University in Tokyo (Bachelors in International Business and Economics) and studied intensive Chinese in Beijing. Worked as a shipbroker since 2003, with a leadership role in shipbroking firm for over 18 years. He is the acting CEO of the company.
Andre D'Rozario
CEO, Managing Partner
Singaporean. Started his career in Shipping at 17 and has been a spot shipbroker for over 25yrs. Besides broking, he also holds a managerial role for operations, back office and recruitment for over a decade on the CPP desk.
James Francis Jr
Managing Partner
Singaporean. Started his career in Shipping and has been in a managerial role in a shipbroking firm for more than 20 years. In the company, he enforces basic standards on discipline and expenses. He also oversees general hiring and ensures smooth day to day operations.
Quah Choong Hua
Managing Partner
Singaporean. Graduated with Bachelor (Honors) in Business Administration from NUS. He spent 6 years as corporate banker/M&A consultant and 17 years as Shipbroker. His exposure to Corporate Banking provides in-sight to a segment for the company. His focus has been to develop and control the Chemicals and Specialized tanker segment.
Lowell Ho
Managing Partner
Singaporean. Started his career in Shipping and has been in a managerial role in a shipbroking firm for more than 20 years. In the company, he acts as the COO.
Randy Yong
COO, Managing Partner
Singaporean. Started her career in Audit and was an Audit Partner before joining Vantage. She has more than 20 years of experience in accounting, audit and tax. She is a Chartered Accountant of Singapore. She currently heads finance and admin department.
Lim Lilian
CFO
Singaporean. Elaine's career spans more than 20 years in the oil energy in multinational oil companies like Chevron, Wood Mackenzie and Shell in a senior management capacity. Her roles range from Terminalling, Marketing, Supply Chain Optimization, Shipping, Chemicals and Downstream Consulting, crediting her deep expertise across the oil supply chain. She currently heads Research & Advisory and Business Development.

Singaporean. Graduated with Bachelor (Honors) in Business Administration from NUS with specilization in Finance and Business Analytics. Started his career as a project manager in an AI consulting firm. He currently manages the digitization efforts of the company. His prior projects include sementic Segmentation, Style Transfer, Conversational AI and Neural Radiance Fields. He currently heads the IT department.
